keep it simple silly :P

why dis kolaveri kolaveri di?????? listening to it for some 50th time and as always my brain started wondering why it is such a huge hit.i could rather use this kind of analysis during my exams it would have  fetched  me better grades :( (cribbing).well coming to the song i love the way the boy's agony is shown using those simple lyrics  and i have noticed that in recent times a song's popularity is directly proportional to the  simplicity of lyrics.Few years ago things were different. people loved highly emotional lyrics.(like" tu hi re tu hi re tere bin… main kaise jiyoon :D )these kind of songs moved people. But kolaveri song dint move people.it just  made  people laugh .  people fell madly in love with it.Theres nothing great in the song. Its just those simple lyrics which created magic.so mission accomplished for dhanush in a simpler way.
Time and again the power of doing things simple has proved how effective it is .During the first ipl series there were no star players in rajasthan royals. The cost at which the team was bought was also very less.A lot of hype was given to other teams inspite of all this rr won,and shane warne addressed his team mates in the   dressing room and told "we did it in a simple, cheap and better way "  Needless to say the return on investment was much high for the rr team than anyone else  :)
And for all fellow osmanians i can tell we are already a step ahead.Theres no academic pressure in ou .A lot of freedom.Simple life :) .  So dont u think simple is beautiful???(just like ou is beautiful (bragging  :P )).

P.S the cribbing and bragging parts are done .so i can now peacfully conclude   if i write more there is no point in saying about keeping things simple.so I'm gonna end dis by saying stay simple and have fun

ganesha -our hero

Yesterday my grand mom and me went to buy clay Ganesha idol. she is a very active lady and in her seventies she walks faster than me and while walking she started saying how lord Ganesha wrote the Mahabharata without stopping for a second dictated  by vyasa maharshi. Don't you think thats a herculean task. Imagine yourself taking running notes non stop. For me its even tough to imagine (As I  never did that :D). So I dont think this is less to any super hero stuff .
we all know the story how Ganesha won over his super fast brother by circling just  around his parents. He just showed us smart work makes way for success. While his bro who is equipped with a peacock couldn't win the race. Our hero just showed us attitude matters than talent some times :)

I actually wanted to throw a free advice in this archive.(cant help -  I know the best advice is  "Don't take advice and don't give advice"). But im just being an Indian :P and the advice is go green use only clay idols.let us please both nature goddess and lord Ganesha this time. oh how could i forget this.happy Ganesh chaturthi friends .Enjoy and have loads of fun :)

love you lasya :)

Most of my friends know lasya priya,(rechristened by my granny as buddi :D)  For those of you who dont know her i take the pleasure in introducing lasya who is a cute 2 years kid.she is now the most loved one of sri manu homes .
Her day starts at 7 am,when she says hi to all the milk and news paper distributors.( u see socializing:P) ).Then if  she sees my grand mom going for morning walk she cuddles and tries to please her so that she can go along with my granny.my dad never leaves for office without a "byee"from this little girl, and coming to me im so fond of this girl that i could not scold her when she drew some abstract art on the walls of my room. All her mispronunciations are like music to us.It is from her that i realized happiness is in small things .A small chocolate will make her very happy.
Every time she wears a new dress she comes and shows it to all of us and asks us  whether it is good.  my mom calls her" gundupilla"  sometimes. This would have irked her if shes  was a little older..love her innocence. But i know nothing is permanent. From lasyas mispronunciations  to her innocence, everything changes. In few years shes going to be a  grown up..But as some product's tag line khoobsurat hai badna. I love seeing  lasya growing up (because that's beautiful too).

invisible concepts

First let me tell about those which were told even before my grand  dad was born ,like economics was given a wealth definition next a welfare definition. After few years it became study of  how people choose to use limited or scarce resources in attempting to satisfy their unlimited wants. These were taught to my dad and thanks to my school teacher she also taught me the same in a beautiful way.yesterday my dad was kidding how economics can be defined as a concept of invisibility.(Thanks to his patience for explaining me different things which i proudly show off before my friends as my intellectual views ).people speak of intangible assets, intellectual property, brands and various other complicated concepts.people here refer to those cool guys and beautiful girls (and brainy too ) in business formals on few channels.we were taught things like a success increases value and failure decreases it. But clearly that wasn't the case for KKR. Even when knight riders performance was too bad in the last seasons. KKR team had a brand value of few hundred crores and their failures did not decrease their brand value..The unseen reason might be due to the strong brand value of shah rukh khan says some intelligent folk .Now don't you see the concept of invisibility.
Few years back there were no event managers .Today we cant imagine any celebs marriage or a corporate event without them. Not that they did not exist in past .They did .They were just some aunt of the bride or grand dad of the groom who took over responsibilities and got a good name in the family .poor aunt and grand dad they weren't taught how to use their good name in market and enhance their brand value.Event management was an invisible task then.
I just heard some business man talking about their u.s.p few months back.Googled it then :P. Even this is not seen it must be felt by the targeted audience of a particular product that only it can give them a unique advantage. This is unique selling proposition. it must be so strong that it can pull over new customers.Like dominos  pizza(ordered one just few mins back :)) says"You get fresh, hot pizza delivered to your door in 30 minutes or less -- or it's free".This one is their USP. Now a days people are using USP casually to refer to any aspect of an object that differentiates it from similar objects.Even a person can have USP now.Even this is invisible. But doesn't mean it doesn't exist.so i am trying to discover whats mine.Try to know whats yours. so that we can market ourselves in the corporate world. who knows there might be a future CEO in us who may talk about all these invisible concepts :D
